Variety has just announced that Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will be co-hosting that next year's Oscar ceremony. Fine by me, but the funniest, wittiest, best host to date - who actually made the whole thing worth watching - was Whoopee Goldberg ... whatever happened to her?
